For our TEDxHHL event, we invite inspiring speakers to spread their ideas and knowledge. We put very high efforts into finding the most interesting speakers in the region of Leipzig, Saxonia, Germany and worldwide. We will provide you with all of the speakers of TEDxHHL 2017 soon!

Rolf Schrömgens is an innovative German entrepreneur, who is best known for his role as Founder and Managing Director for trivago GmbH.

Dr. Julius Emmrich is working on ways to make healthcare accessible to people living in extreme poverty. He is the co-founder and chairman of Doctors for Madagascar, a charity supporting healthcare development.

Anne-Marie Flammersfeld made history at The Last Desert (Antarctica) 2012 when she became the only woman to ever win all 4 Deserts events - made even more impressive by the fact that she did all of them in one year!

Helga Hengge is the first German woman to successfully climb Mount Everest and the Seven Summits - the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.

Dr. Marten Winter is leading sDiv, the Synthesis Centre of iDiv, the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research Halle-Jena-Leipzig. He already started working on non-native introduced species (aliens) with his diploma thesis.

Raphael Fellmer lived from 2010 until 2015 in a money strike, which started with a moneyless journey from The Netherlands to Mexico. To fight food waste he created a foodsaving movement, a network which collected and shared more than 3 million kilogram of food.

Martina Neef is the founder of Rock It Biz, an NGO that’s developed a curriculum to foster entrepreneurial skills and mindsets of children in primary and secondary education in Germany.

Giulia Muntoni has worked for the English Civil Service for nine years after completing her degree in Greek Archaeology. She recently returned to her native Italy after overcoming breast cancer in 2014, a true “watershed” moment in her life.
