Topic: "Beyond the point of no return"
About: Florian Hill, the New York City-based mountaineer and entrepreneur is well known for tackling tough new climbing routes in Alaska, South America and Central Asia. His motivation for maximum performance stems from the passion for elemental life experiences, for which he is willing to accept a high risk: During the ascent of Denali (6.194 m) he was buried by an avalanche and barely survived. He completed important first ascents, for example the route “deliver me” at the infamous south-face of the Illimani (21,122 feet) in Bolivia. Florian Hill regularly gives lectures about risk and decision, and leadership enhancement worldwide. In 2012 he founded the hillalliance ® an advanced service provider promoting transatlantic business with a focus on the United States and Germany.
Next to his passion for expeditions Florian succesfully competed in Olympic boxing in national and international tournaments and was awarded Citizen of Honour in his hometown in the federal state of Hesse.
